2012 – A Return to the Classics!

2012 is going to be another great year for lingerie! I was so excited when I started flipping through magazines and runway photos. This look is more like a tribute to the things that inspired me to love fashion, art and beauty in the first place. A little while ago, we invited our clients to submit photos of them modeling Secrets InLace.    The turnout of beautiful vintage lingerie photos was amazing!  So I thought it would be fun to see which of our favorite celebrities have posed in vintage lingerie lately. I found these photos to be a little different but fabulous none the less.  If any of you models, photographers and stylists out there were looking for inspiration for your next photo-shoot, maybe these photos will get your creative juices flowing.  I also suggested some SIL styles that would fit in nicely with each setting. Happy 2012 everybody! I’m always excited about the meaning of a New Year – New Year’s Resolutions, new opportunities, maybe even a new and improved me. In 2011, I resolved to lose weight and I lost 30 pounds! Even though I met my goal, I still like to wear SIL products that flatter my figure. One of my favorites is our vintage criss cross garter belt. The criss cross garter belt is fabricated of light control powermesh to smooth the hips and flatten the tummy. The criss cross front is not only a fantastic design to look at but also adds even more control around the waist.
